The church,the altar and revival

These days, people complain when church service linger for hours,and some of these people are never bored of watching season movies , premiership football matches and spending hours on the internet. going through the memory lane, spurgeon, moody, wesley, Jonathan Edwards preached for hours and their generations listen to them without complaining. the problem is not with the congregation but the problem is from the altar.God instructed the levites through Moses that fire must not stop burning on the altar. when the altar is on fire, people will not not want to leave the church. because where the fire of God is, lives are changed, destinies are re moulded, and sinners are convicted of sins with evidence of changed lives. the present church needs a revival, and there can only be revival if the gospel is preached and lives are changed. when the changed lives cry for revival, revival will takes place. 2 chron 7: 14, if my people will humble themselves and call ny name, i will answer them. the reason why revival has tarried for long is because the church has refused to admit his sins. we all have a role to play to make revival happen in our own generation, talk to someone about Christ today, the bro or sister you assume is a christian may have backslided...prayers is not enough, act today by telling someone about JESUS CHRIST.
